OFFICIAL STANDARD OPERATING GUIDELINES

SECTION 1. SAFETY

A. Each participant shall be held responsible and liable for his/her safety, the safety of the participant’s minor children, and any personal property. Any member bringing a guest to an event is responsible for that guest’s safety. If the guest is under 18, he/she must have written permission from their parent or guardian. Safety concerns should be brought to the attention of the BOD or designated officer immediately, if possible, before any 3SIXTY JC Event or Activity.

B. Any person behaving or operating their vehicle in an unsafe, rude, or negligent manner shall be asked to leave the event and will forfeit their attendance and any costs incurred.

C. Please be advised: We obey traffic rules and laws. If laws or incidents are broken, it is your responsibility. We have no authority to block roads or intersections unless authorized by the local government to participate in events.

D. Illegal possession of firearms during a club-sponsored event is strictly prohibited. Legal Possession of weapons is allowed. However, all guns must be kept holstered and safe out of kids’ reach at all times or left in vehicles out of reach of kids. Refer to Section 2: F-I

E. All event member participants and their guests shall obey the 3SIXTY rules of trail conduct as listed in this article, all applicable laws of the county and state that the event is in, and any subsequent rules of the landowner if an event is held on private property. This includes highway events as well. Anyone not conforming to these rules will be asked to leave the event.

F. Participants may bring kids/pets to events but with the understanding that they will be expected to keep their kids/pets under control and always behave. The behavior and any damage or injury caused by the kids/pet will remain the sole responsibility of its owner. The BOD reserves the right to prohibit kids/pets at 3SIXTY JC events.

SECTION 2. EVENTS

A. All events are planned with safety as a primary factor; therefore, all events and participants are subject to liability releases.

B. Events will be planned by the event coordinator and regulated by the chairperson when necessary. If the EC or chairperson is unavailable, all event-related questions go to the event coordinator/chairperson or BODs.

C. To create an official 3SIXTY JC event, it must be announced to the BOD as such, and all details regarding the proposed event must be made available to the BOD. At this time, if approved, it will be created on the page.

D. At least one member of the BOD must be present for an event to be recognized as an official 3SIXTY JC event. 3SIXTY JC encourages small, informal get-togethers and pop-up runs as long as they do not interfere with scheduled events. However, they are not to be considered official events of 3SIXTY JC.

E. Events shall include paved roads, trail rides, meet and greets, and other BOD-designated activities.

F. An event shall begin after a pre-run driver’s meeting or a functional equivalent and concludes when the group or groups have returned to a designated location.

G. The trail master will inform the BOD about current trail conditions, vehicular compliance, weather precautions, or any other issue that might influence the decision-making for the event before and during the ride.

H. Tread Lightly. We should leave the area better than we found when we are on the trails, on the open road, or at a gathering.

I. The use of Trail radios is highly encouraged, but only when safe. Please keep transmissions to a minimum so others can communicate any issues or questions. Also, beware of language on the radio because young children may be in other vehicles.

J. Refrain from using vulgar or obscene language on your GMRS radio. FCC frowns at the music being played on the GMRS radio. Also, the FCC requires any radio over 2 watts to be licensed. A copy of your license shall always be kept in your vehicle. Also, be aware that other people are on that frequency and can hear what we say.

SECTION 3. MEMBERSHIP

A. Membership must be kept in good standing, and dues must be paid yearly.

B. All Merchandise items and club-related activity fees must be paid in advance. If merchandise is not picked up within 90 days, it will be returned to inventory without reimbursement.

C. Behavior on social media or other streaming platforms. Remember that you are representing 3Sixty JC. Please refrain from using foul language or obscene photos on media platforms. If you have an issue with a post made, please contact that individual to discuss it or contact one of the BOD members, and we will resolve the situation. We want to be noticed for the good we are doing in the community, not a rude comment made to someone and be seen as bullies.

D. Please consider your behavior outside 3Sixty gatherings, such as driving, parking, dining out, or shopping. Always practice common courtesy and remember that you are representing 3Sixty Jeep Club. By wearing our logo merchandise and displaying our decals on your Jeep, you showcase the good we do in the community. Let's strive to impact and be recognized for our efforts positively.

E. Sexual Harassment: Unwanted sexual touching, unwanted advances, or crude sexual comments will not be tolerated. Crude remarks regarding sexual orientation, race, or religious beliefs will not be tolerated. If a member feels they have been a victim of any of these, they shall report it to a board member or ethics committee. The ethics committee is required to report to the board. The person who has violated this rule shall meet with the board and be given a chance to explain their side of the story. If the board finds that a person has, without a doubt, violated this rule, they could face a suspension or removal from this group.

F. There will be zero tolerance for consumption of illegal substances/Alcohol while at a 3Sixty ride.

G. Profane language is highly discouraged and must be used with the utmost discretion. Obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated at a 3Sixty public gathering. This includes excessive alcohol consumption, loud, obnoxious, or vulgar talking, or profanity. Any member deemed to have consumed too much alcohol will be offered a ride home, and their vehicle will be taken home by a member. We may have potential members at these gatherings. Also, the public will know we are 3Sixty members at this gathering. Please keep in mind that 3SIXTY JC official events are meant to be family-oriented, and as such, there is the likelihood that young children may be present.

H. The PR Coordinator will do all media releases. If approached by any media asking about 3Sixty, refer them to the PRC.

I. Vocal or physical disputes will not be tolerated. Any dispute not resolved between the parties will be brought before the ethics committee, which will try to resolve the dispute to the parties' satisfaction. If the ethics committee cannot resolve the issue, it will present it to the board for assistance. At any time, no member shall speak publicly or on social media in a derogatory manner about another member. Please keep our member issues within the club.

J. Please dress appropriately at public functions. Preferably, wear 3Sixty attire. Keep your private parts (chest and lower body parts) covered decently. We need to be aware of how the public sees us and how we portray ourselves.

K. When dressed as our mascot at a public function, your behavior reflects on the club. Other than handshakes or high-fives, no grabbing or touching of another person is allowed. It is permitted if a person wants to take a picture with the mascot and hug it. The person must initiate that type of touching. Also, hugs will be allowed if the person initiates them. We need to be aware that there is a possibility that the mascot will be recorded and the recording will be put on social media.

L. During our major events (Easter, Rally, Halloween, Christmas), please try to help as much as possible. The event requires a lot of people and resources, so every little bit helps to prepare for a big event. There are always jobs for everyone, no matter your skills or abilities. Please refrain from scheduling non-sanctioned 3Sixty events on scheduled work days.

M. The 3Sixty Jeep Club logo is strictly prohibited for personal use or business gain. Unless written permission from the board.

N. Facebook and Messenger rules: 1) Be kind and Courteous. Treat everyone with respect. Healthy debate is allowed, but be kind and reasonable. We don’t always have the same opinion. Remember, we all are human. 2) No hate speech or bullying will be tolerated. No degrading comments about things like religion, race, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will be tolerated. Immediate removal from the club may occur if the BOD deems it necessary. 3) No selling is allowed unless approved by the BOD or admins of the Facebook/messenger page. And that will only be Jeep-related items or Parts. 5) Respect everyone’s privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions may be sensitive and private. What is said on the group’s Facebook/Messenger page should stay in the group.

O. Any member speaking negatively about another member will be asked to meet with the Ethics Committee to explain their issue with the other member. The Ethics Committee will try to resolve the issue between the members. The member will meet with the Board if it is apparent the problem can’t be resolved. 3Sixty Jeep Club Board of Directors can be removed from membership by the member’s majority vote for not adhering to the Standard Operating Guidelines. We appreciate your support,
